As a secondary school graduates with certificate (attestat) or its foreign equivalent or certificates/diploma on completion of a college or IB Diploma Program or A-Level or UK Foundation Program to the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, you are required to have:

IELTS – no less than 7.0 overall (with at least 6.0 in each sub-score) or TOEFL iBT – 94-101 or TOEFL PBT* - 600-629;

SAT Reasoning Test with Essay** 1240. Essay is required, no minimum score

OR

ACT**  - composite score not less than 27. Writing part is required, no minimum score

not less than 30 total score and  4, 4, 5 for  3 subjects of HL (for IB DP);

not less than ABB (for NIS Grade 12  Certificate scores).

For intake 2018 Nazarbayev University will practice Superscoring for SAT and ACT scores (from May 2017 till May 2018).

1. Application form.

2. Notarized copy of passport or national ID, or birth certificate for applicants under the age of 16.

3. Notarized copy of secondary school certificate  (Attestat) with final academic performance records or its foreign equivalent or academic reports  with provisional scores acknowledged by the school with obligation to submit the hard copies of the notarized document in due time.

4. Notarized copy of NIS Grade 12 certificate or its academic reports with provisional scores acknowledged by the school with obligation to submit the hard copies of the notarized document in due time (only for graduates holders of NIS Grade 12 Certificate). 

5. Notarized copy of diploma on completion of the  IB Diploma Programme with transcript or expected scores acknowledged by the school with obligation to submit the hard copies of the notarized document in due time (only for  IB Diploma Programme graduates).

6. Medical certificate (form 086-У)*** with the chest X-Ray image*** and vaccination record or passport (form 063-У)***.

7. Signed Applicant/Student Consent Form on Personal Data Processing.

8. One 3х4 size photo***.

9. Personal Statement in English.

10. Valid official certificate or electronic version of SAT Reasoning Test with essay  or ACT with Writing Results with obligation to submit a hard copy of the official certificate in due time.

11. Valid official IELTS certificate or its electronic version or TOEFL certificate or its electronic version with obligation to submit a hard copy of the official certificate in due time.

12. Valid official certificate or its electronic version of SAT Subject Test results with obligation to submit a hard copy of the official certificate in due time (only for School of Science and Technology, School of Engineering, School of Mining and Geosciences).

13. A copy of an insurance policy on health insurance valid for the entire study term*** (only for foreign citizens or stateless individuals). 

*TOEFL PBT are required to be submitted by the international applicants from the countries where official IELTS and TOEFL iBT are not available.

** Not required for IB DP and NIS Grade 12 Certificate
