Bachelor’s (full-time) degree diploma (or equivalent) and GPA  4 out of 5, or 2,67 out of 4

Eligibility:

- Bachelor’s (full-time) degree diploma (or equivalent);

- At least two years of work experience in public institutions, national companies, non-governmental organizations, international organizations, foreign companies and/or business entities that involve extensive interaction with the public sector.

Based on GSPP’s Admissions Committee discretion, applicants with work experience less than 2 years may also be considered if the applicant can demonstrate high academic performance.

 

How to apply:

Every applicant to the MPP program is required to submit a complete application package before the deadline.

 

The application package includes the following:

1) Completed application form (available at admissions.nu.edu.kz);

2) Three essays. Essay questions are available in the online application form;

3) Resume/CV;

4) Official copy (-ies) of Bachelor’s degree diploma (or equivalent) with transcript(s) including a notarized English translation.

Applicants who obtained Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree diploma (or its equivalent) from foreign educational institutions must request their official final transcript(s) to be sent directly to the Nazarbayev University.

5) Valid English language proficiency test report (academic IELTS or TOEFL equivalent). Candidates who obtained university level degree in educational institutions with English as the language of instruction located in the countries where English is an official language can be exempted from providing IELTS/TOEFL results.

Score requirements:

IELTS test score – 6.5 (with no score below 6.0 in any element).

6) Notarized copy of identity card or passport;

7) Notarized copy of the document that proves professional experience of the applicant (if applicable) with notarized English translation;

8) Two letters of recommendation from individuals who are able to comment on the abilities of the applicant in a professional setting and are familiar with his/her achievements and future aspirations. One of the two recommendations should be written by current or previous employer (if applicable). The second referee may be chosen at the applicant’s discretion;

9) Valid GRE or GMAT test Report (optional).
